Not spotless, but I might still eat off of it, lol. The rear axle isn't good though. That seems a little odd for that amount of rust. It isn't a big spot but looks 'deep', if that makes sense. Can you get better pictures of the seam on the axle? It also looks like some of the seams of the frame rails are in a similar situation.

Looks pretty good overall, and annual fluidfilm will keep it that way for years. Certainly not the worst, and not one that I'd run from.

That rust looks okay. I would clean those welds using a rotary metal brush and apply black RP 342 followed by fluid film or equivalent though the 200 series has lots of meat in the frame so it may not even be an issue long term.

Interesting the spare wheel was mounted upside down. That has probably scratched the light alloy OEM wheel.

I hate rust, and I would still buy this if it checked all the other boxes and was a decent deal.

Looks great 👍

I would not call it clean. Moderately bad. I bet if you pull the rear bumper skin, you will find it much worse there. My rig at 50k and only 3 years in Northeast when I bought looked WAY better than this one. Hardly any visible rust on the frame. Yet when I pulled the bumper skin, it looked kinda bad. Treated it with rust converter and chassis paint. Rust-proofed ever since it has held great now over 7 years later.

It looks pretty decent. I'd wager it was used occasionally to launch a boat in salt water, hence the rear axle being more predominantly rusty. Nothing I'd worry about.

Is that rear differential pinion seal leaking?

Probably not a concern in the short term as it’s slight seepage, but could be a negotiating tactic.

Mmmmm, delicious! I'd go for it for sure.
