I am slowly moving towards lifting my 200, but there is a problem. I park in a parking deck multiple times a week for work.

Anticipating lifting the truck I have opted for a very slim roof rack but am still concerned about installing the OME medium kit SLEE offers and hitting the parking deck.

Could we start a thread for people who have lifted their truck with measurements from the ground to the top of the wheel well, including tire size...

I have used the search and found nothing.

Thank you in advance 200 community.

FWIW I have the OME medium 2" (non BP51) lift with a Gobi Stealth and I measure 6'9" and have hit garage safety pvc pipe listed as 6'10" (safety factor?) so I stick to 7' or taller garages.

Initial build:
2702 F / 2722 R
285/65R-18 KO2 (~1" larger diameter than OEM)

- no sliders, no ARB skids, OEM bumpers F/R
- 3rd row removed, no gear loaded, full tank gas

Center of wheel hub to fender lip measurements:
22" F / 23" R

Subsequent upgrades:
- sliders, skids, ARB Bull Bar, winch (dry fit)
- 3rd row removed, no gear loaded, full tank gas

Center of wheel hub to fender lip measurements:
21" F / 23" R (front lowered 1" with 'extras')

Current build:
2703 F / 2722 R
285/65R-18 KO2 (~1" larger diameter than OEM)

- sliders, skids, ARB Bull Bar, Warn M12k, 31P-AGM7 Battery

22" F / 23" R (regained original height with HD springs)

It I'm interested in this measurement too....
It's just that it gets super messy trying to figure out what your EXACT height will be.

You mentioned tire size, but ALL of the following will also play a role in how high your wheel well sits.

-What level of springs are in back? -2720, 21, 22, 23?
-How many mm of preload were dialed into your coilovers (if they are adjustable)?
-Do you have heavy drawers installed?
-Do you have a heavy rear bumper/tire carrier or just stock?
-Do you have a heavy front bumper/winch or just stock?
-Do you have suspension spacers in front? In back?

My BP-51's can vary in lift in front by *several inches* just by adjusting preload threads on install.

If you look at ARB's officials lift amounts?

Have a look at @Willy beamin 's thread, 50,000 on Icons. When he got them back from Icon, his truck was suddenly lifted way more than before. Details... :) On the other hand, that's why we all keep coming back here. It's complicated...

FWIW I have the OME medium 2.5 (non BP51) lift with a Gobi stealth and I measure 6'9" and have hit garage safety nets/chain listed as 6'10" (safety factor?) so I stick to 7' or taller. Thankfully there are a lot of options in Denver since many have ski racks and/or boxes.

Edit - I'll provide wheel height measurements once I swap out to 2703s up front due to new bumper and winch.

So is the OME 2.5's the same as the 2" medium lift from SLEE? I have seen the 2.5 somewhere else also.

I fit inside the 6'8" clearance at my office, but not my much. OEM roof rack is the key.

2" lift listed on Slee's website is correct, I corrected my typo in original post. Must have had too many

@jblatl I have the same issue and this is why I originally got the Bilstein 4600's we've talked about. I think I posted in the roof rack options thread my 200 is at 82" and my garage door opening is at 84", or 7'. Of course now I'm itching to do a lift also, and I've recently ordered a low profile rack. Once the rack goes on and I see what my new total height is, a lift or not will be decided on.

Slee offers the OME kit with or without the UCA, has anyone got the alignment in spec without the UCA?

I have the icons stage two with the 2720's in the rear, front dialed the hell down to level it out with the back and even then I have to stay at 6'9"/7" at a minimum, I've hit the 6'8" pvc safety thingy way too many times..... I also have a goby.

Planning to go with 2721's for my West coast trip in May so not looking forward to not even fit I my own garage. Might only do so for the trip and revert upon return.

updated my original post with measurements I had from initial OME lift install, plus the current effects of subsequent upgrades, and I'll provide other measurements once 2703s are installed (plus happy to provide any other info if needed)

Stock is 74 inches. Or 6 foot 2 inches.

I added 275/70/18 tires and the increase in sidewall is about 0.8"

Once my lift comes in I want to be 2" higher up front and level in the rear (1.5" probably)

That'll put me at 74+0.8+2 = 76.8

I may even go 3" :D so 77.8 then. 6 foot 5.8 inches.

If you can't find the height restrictions so easily you can always see whether commercial vehicles are entering and exiting the garage. That's a good indicator your lifted LC may fit.

Yesterday I pulled the trigger on a BP-51 setup, I am planning on running the front as low as possible on their adjustments with 2720's in the rear. The kit also came with the SPC upper control arms. From what I have read, it appears this will give me about an inch in the front and no change in the back. The thing I find questionable is ARB literature says the back might actually go down a little and not up by .75"????

Are you sure stock is 74 not 76"? After I installed my RW KO2's I am 78" and I'm afraid of going any higher due to parking garages. I assumed stock was 76" assuming my height increased 2".

I think @arich ran 2720's and I THINK I recall him saying it was his favorite spring...not sure.

If anyone knows it's real/typical effect on height, it might be him, as he's changed his suspension more than anyone I've ever heard of. Maybe he'll chime in...

ARB's numbers tend to be conservative. Australia has crazy rules about going higher than 2" or your rig may not be street legal. My theory is ARB fudges measurements lower than they really are for this reason, but I don't know.

Here's an interesting read about laws over there that make me wonder if they fudge them lower. It's about a recent easing the lift laws, but it still sounds pretty restrictive:

Check out Tough Dog suspension. Jason @ Trail Tailor can give you good info.
(He is on Mud)

You can get heavier springs for TD.

Correct on springs.

Load ranges:
Comfort- 0-660#
Constant- 660- 1100#
Constant PLUS- 1100- 1500#

Shock options:

41mm foam cell
40mm 9 stage adjustables
45mm 9 stage adjustables
53mm foam cell

All shock/strut assy are available in the above EXCEPT the 53mm bore in the strut. Outer casing is TOO BIG for the strut coil.

The Tough Dog kit is a leveling suspension that from my experiences so far are right at 2" in front and 1" rear mark.

The 41mm foam cell front struts and comfort and constant rear coils with 41mm foam cell shocks are in stock.

Jason
