Ok, almost finished replacing the hoses.
Can't figure out how to open and use these new Toyota OEM clamps.

They have the color tip bracket holding the tension, do I use needle nose and remove the colored tip?

How the heck do I it? RTH, as I took off the old radiator hoses, and ready to put back on the new.

These are 90466-41008 (the green)

Looks like you just pull the colored piece off

@Rivman1243 I agree. But I tried it on the both with needle nose pliers.
You can see I scraped up the color, but it didnt budge.
There is an easy way I just cant figure out.

OK. So I squeezed below the color with pliers and was able to take color cover off.-- Damn clamp almost took my eye out. Be very careful with these.--- But thinking logically about them, the color tips are covers that hold the tension in. This makes it easy to fit on the radiator hoses. ---So future people reading this, don't remove the color tips until you have them on the hoses. With the houses installed first.
Or you'll shoot your eye out!

Sorry @DocuDude , but i laughed when i saw this. To an inexperienced person, I can understand the confusion. At work, when we have these clips, EVERYONE is afraid of them. Definitely don't handle them without safety glasses. NEVER try to wear them as rings.
One time, a guy accidentally dropped one on his desk and it shot halfway across the office.
