There is no fog where I live, so I'm replacing my fog lights with 40 watt (total) off-road driving lights. Two questions...
1) Where is the relay for the fog lights, and what pin do I have to trim off for it to work while the high beams are on? I don't see anything in the relay box by the battery.
2) How many watts / amps can the stock fog light wiring handle? If it's not up to snuff, I'll just use it to power a relay, but I'll be using the fog light switch on the left stalk either way.

I found the fuse for the front fog lights. It's 15 amps. Even if my driving lights were 40 watts EACH, that'd only be 6.7 amps, so the stock wiring should be fine. However, I need to figure out where the relay is that shuts these things off when the high beams are on and I'm absolutely stumped.

I run the Rigid SAE driving lights off the factory wiring, no issues.

Thanks guys...but do you only use them when the low beams are on? The factory fog lights turn off when you turn the high beams on. On my Jeep TJ, you just pull the fog light relay and break one of the tabs off to disable this feature, but I don't even see a foglight relay on the GX.

Mine are directly wired up with the factory setup so they are on with the low beams. I merely wanted to ensure the factory wiring can handle these power-wise. Mine are on 100% of the time my low bean are on. Other than wiring them up to the high beam switch I have zero idea how to get them to come on with the high beans otherwise. On my MOPARs I programmed them that way in the ECU so I don’t know how Toyota handles it.
