I am having a problem with a Lexus dealership in Houston. Are any of you local and friendly with the dealership? If so please send me a PM.

What do you need?

This place is fantastic, and know what they are doing. Owner is nice and owns several LXs himself. Familiar with AHC and have a 40 year master tech.

Only place i would go for dealer style needs.

I’ve met the service manager at Westside, and have his email address. Where are you going, and what’s the issue?

This is sterlingmccalllexus.com. I paid for a car 2 weeks ago and still don't have a car.

Ah, you ordered a new car?
Supply chain delay is still real. You were told that there’s no guarantee on timeline, right?

Yes, PM sent.

This is definitely not a new car. I think I just ended up with a really terrible sales rep.

What’s their excuse?

I have not heard any excuse. A manager did say the ball was dropped.

Sterling McCall is garbage. Once you get the vehicle, never go back. I live much closer to Sterling but always go to Westside if I need some kind of dealer service.

West Side Lexus is the only Lexus dealership anyone should bother with in the Houston area. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

All your comments are a little cryptic. Or maybe just lacking detail.

Were they supposed to ship it to you or something?

Most dealers in general suck and dk what there doing just because it's a lexus dealer does not mean they are not out to bend you over. It's a car dealership it's literally there job to screw you over, and make money.

Yes, and that one asian lady i have known since i was a child but whos name i never remember lol. She is the top dog there.

Alright I have an update and a request for some direction.
After talking to manager Ray the LX showed up less than 24 hours later. We were heading out to thanksgiving dinner. There were some expected and unexpected surprises. The Biggest issue is it will not go into 4 low and the center diff lock will not ingage. On the inside the drivers seat has no climate control. According the dealership we have 5 days/250 miles to keep it or return it.

Often the 4x and cdl are very disused and require some cycling help get them unstuck. Try a few times. Also try to shift into 4l and then turn car on/off while in 4l
What exactly is the seat climate issue?

Sounds to me like you have some negotiating ammunition. Kinda depends on what you paid for it. That is, unless, you bought it with no inspection/contingency/etc..... The 4lo and CDL should be cycled repeatedly as @grinchy mentioned, that should resolve the issue there. The seat climate issue will need to be detailed further for crowdsourced 'MUD troubleshooting. Keep us posted.

I've followed some of the troubleshooting steps in the other threads. I've tried driving in figure eights. I have not tried starting it set to four low. I'll give that a shot.

The ventilation in the seat and the heat in the seat are not working. The passenger seat works fine.

Could be an unplugged connector under the seat. Or a blown fuse.
