seems 7775460240 which is the charcoal cannister outlet is discontinued.. anyone know where I can find one. I do see that there is 7775460231 but that is for 1998's whereas mine is a 2001 - the online order system at toyota indicates that it will not fit mine

Yep, looks discontinued

If you can't find it in stock anywhere you may need to just try and match it up with generic vac lines from your auto parts store.

I am not sure but this one seems the same as this part number: 7775460270
If I were you I will buy 7775460270 locally to test if it works or not.

Call your local Toyota pats department maybe they can track it down for you. I was just looking into that part recently I am pretty sure the version with the green cap is still out there.

Problem is that there is a green pressure port on the hose
Yes on 06-07 LC100 that hose doesn't have the green port from factory. The FSM suggests to disconnect the line from bottom of the car to do the test.

that port is for testing purpose and it is not critical part for the system.

funny enough if you want to buy the replacement hose for these years models, the part number is 7775460270, which does have the green port.

and if you want to buy the green port only, you can try this part number: 7773906010. Again, I am not sure if it works or not you have to try it out.

Bumping this to see if anyone has found out if one of these alternate charcoal canister hoses works for 2000/2001?
I bought a 1997 3rd gen 4runner charcoal canister hose 23827-62030 and cut into two to get it installed. Had plenty of length so one hose is all it needed.

Cool. Is this part just hose, or did it have the charcoal canister part too?

I have a ‘99 LC 100 and having the same dry rot issue, I was able to buy the charcoal canister outlet hose without the vacuum check port that fits the ‘98 (77754-60231). The part is a perfect fit, and I simply reused the old check port by cutting the new hose and inserting it in the original location.

I am sure that you could use it as is. Only kept it to retain original equipment

Thanks so much for this info. I just purchased this part and will do a little surgery as suggested to get that check port in place.
