For these early rigs with the threaded PCV, I’m thinking a later model PCV that fit into a rubber bushing. Then build a threaded adaptor at the oil fill port….

Original Toyota PN, 12204-60021….67 through 72
APCO PN, 77-42-383

That’s all the info I have…..Google up those PNs, may get lucky, someone may be getting rid of NOS.

I have been DIY wrenching on cars for a very longe time, since before 1968….and generally replaced the PCV at tune up, needed or not (most times not needed). And with all of the ‘junkers’ I’ve owned and kept running, the 2018 experience with a failed PCV was my first.

I stock early pcv valves.

Thanks Mark. How much do those cost? Depending on which way I decide to go on my carb I might need a few things you have (insulator). I’m heading out of town early tomorrow and will be back next week so I’m going to try and decide which way I want to go carb-wise.
