not mine, but thought it was a great deal.

I don't know what I would do without my bandsaw. Spent about 2 hrs with it the other day and my ears and hands couldn't be happier as opposed to using a chop saw or grinder to make all those cuts.

Has anyone contacted the seller or is nearby and can inspect the saw? I think there are several of us who might kick-in some bucks to buy it. I'm willing to kick in $25 (maybe more) if there are others who are interested. Maybe Tom will keep it for us in his Cruiser Cave?

The club has to vote on this type of expenditure so it isn't practical for the club to buy this unless it's still available after next month's meeting.

The Milwaukee is a hand held saw and you're welcome to keep it at my place. I'd take the horizontal, I miss having Ryan's around, but you've seen the crap hole I call my garage. Maybe if I got rid of Lylia's gardening crap, Ryan's old crap, Matt's Cruiser and Honda parts hoard, and a few hundred board feet of chery, ...

I just picked up 2 Porta-bands the other day from my shop. One needs a variable drive transformer and one will not adjust down far enough to get the belt on. I dropped them off at the Dewalt repair shop in capital heights Monday. we'll see how much they rape me to fix them.
I plan on keeping one portable and the other making into a table/auto cut off saw.
I'll let ya'll know how it works out.
