AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOSH, WOULD I LOVE TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE!!!!! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!

What a great read! Its wonderful to see REAL history and the story behind it. Myself, would fine it hard to believe it was used to ferry troops back, only because of its seating capacity. With that said, I couldn't help but believe the Navy did use her in some capacity.

I hope you fine more information on her, please post it!

glad youl liked it. aparently the few speedboats there were at the time were sent first but they used everything down to small rowing boats. I really want to get this boat over to the States and in a museum that will look after her properly and secure her future, and so people like you can take a bit of pleausre from her story

Great story !!!!
