Anyone want to go? Short notice but Ill be in the area and want to test out my new shackles and flex. Not 100% if I can go but all yall from the lakes basin event have sounded interested

I'll go either day...I think it's supposed to rain Saturday though.

I'd like to get out there sometime but this weekend is no good for me. Have fun guys!

I might be able to go on Saturday now, but ih8mud. It's going to be a mudfest down there. If you like that kinda thing, it going to be perfect. It rained about an inch today, it's going to dump on Friday and there's an 80% chance of rain Saturday.

I should come down just to take pictures.

Some guys are going 2/22 too...

Well Im coming from the snow to smg my truck and Its the only weekend im going to be able to make it so im going rain or shine haha

So Saturday for sure then? Even if it's a mudfest?

I think I'll still go, but I'm not doing anything crazy!

What time you leaving Livermore?

Prob around 8am or sooner. But ya nothing crazy im leaving my 265r15 studded ice tires on since we are suppossed to get a big blizzard this weekend and I dont want to drive home with muds on. Swaybar is coming off though

I dunno....I think I might have to bail.
After watching the weather and hearing terms like "Pinapple Express" and "urban flooding" I think I'm officially scared off now.

Sorry man, I guess I'm a wuss...have fun!

FWIW, camping in Yosemite this weekend sounds kinda crazy too!

Hmmm bummer. Well I may end up heading to carnegie instead then and not burn that much gas there and back. Im thinking of throwing on my mud tires...

Has Carnegie added any 4WD trails?

Or do they still just have the mudhole?

No trails but they have the little obstacles here and there and it s a little safer playin there by myself than hollister. They added a new section a few months ago I want to check out too

Hollister has a couple of play areas with obstacles that are, what I would consider safe. It's going to be full of people getting muddy and there's good cell phone coverage.

Awesome verbiage from noaa.gov, 'an "atmospheric river" of
concentrated moisture impacts northern California. The heaviest rains will
occur as these pulses of deep moisture interact with the rugged
terrain...resulting in 4 to 8 inch amounts along the coast and in the
foothills of the Sierra'
