At the last meeting the idea of having a club holiday party was discussed. I offered to look into renting the neighborhood community center.

Here are the fees:
$50/hr for the first 4 hours (4 hour minimum) = $200 :frown:
$40/hr for each additional hour :crybaby:
$40 sanitation fee :bang:
Plus we would have to get a $1M liability insurance policy. :censor:

$ounds to me like we need to keep looking for a place to have the party.

Coyote Grill just opened a new restaurant in Centreville with a private dining area seating up to 40.

14101 St. Germain Drive in Centrewood Plaza. (Rt 29/Lee Hwy between I-66 & Rt 29)

We eat at the original restaurant in the City of Fairfax all the time. The food and margaritas are fantastic. (IMHO much better than Anita's) Unfortunately, this location doesn't have a private dinning room.

I haven't been to the Centreville location yet, but I'd be more than happy to have dinner there and check out the private dining room to see if it is suitable for a club party. Any excuse to go to Coyote Grill works for me. Anyone care to join me?

Ed -

Let's explore Coyote Grill, perhaps a recon mission is in order for next week sometime....

I wouldn't call it a holiday party, but the holiday get togethers we've had at the Vienna Inn were nice. Any thoughts on that?

I'm game for that too. Can't do Coyote Grill until after Tuesday, let me check with the social chairman.

I'm game for some chili-cheese-dogs.
The only problem is finding tables and parking since the club has expanded numbers of active members.

My friend's older brother owns the VI, I can ask him if we can reserve a table. Anita's in Vienna has a upper room. The Olde Brouge in GF has a back room as well.
