Do any of you HJ61 owners out there have a center console mounted overhead with guages in it similar to the attached photos?

If so, how does it mount in your rig - looking to confirm that it is mounted with two small mounting screws about 3-5cm from the windshield and about 14.5 cm apart from each other center to center.

The second picture was taken from an HJ61 - the other two are consoles that have been modified for other purposes (in one case an 80's series Sahara) so I'm not sure if it is a compatible part or not, but is a good illustration of what I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance

I like that overhead console. Gets me thinkin again about putting a CB or my Yaesu up there. Anybody in North America selling those?

Not with degrees Celsius as the temp measurement--more nice stuff for the guys across either pond.

It looks like there is a base plate that secures to the roof with four screws, then the panel assembly mounts to the base plate with the two screws using some sort of insert.

The first one with the fuel gauge also on there (if it isnt already) would be sweet.

If it's the same unit that I had looked up it had been discontinued by Toyota.

I've also toyed with the idea of either removing the compass/altimeter and installing aftermarket gauges or put a CB spacer to sandwitch between the console and the headliner and slap on the gauges.

Good luck!
