[HJ61] How to slide the window into this channel? (1 Viewer)

Hey all-- I just got some fresh rubber for a window that kept popping out of the regulator channel. Any tips for getting the glass back into the channel? I've tried putting the weatherstrip on the glass first then into the channel but the rubber is just too sticky (tried spraying some glass cleaner on it but no luck). I've also tried putting the weatherstrip into the channel first then sliding the window in but it's not wanting to go. I feel like there's got to be a trick to this...

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Pull the glass from the door and lube with soap and water, gently tap with a rubber mallet while keeping everything well lubed with soap and water. Dawn dish soap works the best and easiest applied with a spray bottle.
