Is there only one fuel pump on the 1987 HJ60 (mounted to frame) Where would I find the relay for this pump? Thank you very much!!! This is my first Diesel Land Cruiser. 2h motor.

The fuel injector pump is located at the front RH side of engine and is bolted to the engine and pulls its own fuel from the tank.
Any other kind of pump would be an aftermarket thing.

The edic has a relay.

What kind of problem, do you have?

Fuel pump issues

I found a pump mounted to the frame in the rear, this is probably an add on, the truck will stay running as long as I keep pumping the primer pump, but it dies after I stop pumping. When it stopped on me I was driving at about 35mph and it felt like it ran out of fuel, which was low but I dont think it was out. Thank you very much for the help.

Do you know where the relay is? I`m pulling my hair out. Thanks again!

The 2H ( HJ60 ) never come ( as far as I know ) with a electric pump .. it's just the IP and the plunger getting diesel from the tank ..

Attaches to the frame under the rear pass side you have a water separator ..

Can you take a pic of the pump ? for sure it is an aftermarket instalation .. and maybe you must search for electrical suply .. ñ but actually the factory 2H and IP in good shape don't need it.

There is a electric pump attached to the frame on the Canadian '86 HJ60. It looks OEM and has the Toyota style connectors. The power is routed through the body (not the frame) and I'm trying to find the where it runs as well. It's not in the wiring diagrams.
