G'day Crew,
Hoping someone can help me with some brake stuffing around. I'm gettting geared up to get a 12HT + H55 into my HJ47, plus taking the HJ61's front discs etc.
Looking for assistance on the below:
1) I have got rotors and pads + knuckle kit + caliper rebuild kit for a HJ61, that should be fine. Wondering if anyone knows if there are soft-lines available to replace the axle-caliper hardlines similar to an 80 series factory setup?
2)I would like to lose the transfer park brake and go to the 60 series setup on the rear axle. Can I take the backing plates off the 61 and use drum + shoes etc for the 61 on the 47 axle?
3) If I take the backing plate etc off the 61, do I need to use 61 spindles, hub etc or can I stick with 40?
3) Do I want a HJ61 brake master? If so, do I take the booster from the 60 as well or is it no better than the HJ47's?
Lastly, pic of collecting the 47 as it sits now, just because...
