Hey there! I just bought a basic Curt hitch receiver for my 2012 GX460. I figured it would be a quick and easy 4 bolt installation. Naturally, I should have taken a look under the truck first because it turns out that my GX seems to be different from all the ones I've come across online (see image). I only have 2 of the 4 threaded holes I was expecting. I'm coming up short in my internet searches about this. I'm guessing that in a past life, someone removed a plate or something there that would give me my missing 2 weld nuts. Thoughts? Part numbers for missing pieces? Is everything I've found just lying to me and I got the wrong receiver part?

Thanks in advance!

Oof. The good news is they didn't sell/remove this.

@Hehena that looks like it’s exactly what I’m looking for.

@re_guderian yeah, absolutely! I was happy to see the left that for me.

I’m a bit bummed I might have to drop another $250 on this, but I guess that’s how it goes.

Thanks for the help!

just broke one of the bolts off for this mount, considering just replacing it all together. How was the install of the 51908-WY010 mount?

Can you tap the holes for your bolts? Or is it an open space where a plate should be?
