looking to purchase an arb bumper for my 2002 100 series...
I see that 2002 is the year when some change was made in production.

1) what was the change?
2) when in 2002 did the change affect the US market?
2) how do I determine which arb to purchase?

I am no arb expert but the Landcruiser had a facelift in the uk in 2002, so I imagine it relates to that change. Has yours got the face lift or not will probably answer your question.

The later 03 combo bar looks better.

You may also.want to look at iron man.... metal tech is running a special in them right now.

Just get the 03+, it fits on all the models.
I got it for my 98 LX470

Major model changes:

Australia uses production date, around Aug/Sept 2002. US vehicles go by Model Year, 2003.

Some people don't like the 03+ bar on 98-02 because it has a large gap around the headlights, where the facelift would cover.

I just had an ARB Combination Bumper installed by Slee Off-Road and I believe they did have to
cut off part of the frame rails for the job. Check out the ARB website for specifics but my understanding
is that it is necessary for all 100s.
