SOLD HI/Low linkage and shift lever for 1 piece xfer case wanted

WTB Linkage and shifter for FJ40 one piece transfer case

I have no idea why, but the PO of my rig entirely removed the HI/Low transfer case linkage and shifter lever. I have the horn on the transfer case itself and vacuum actuated 2wd/4wd, but none of the linkage or the shifter for hi/low. I'm located in the St Louis area and will pay for shipping and handling or will drive up to 250 miles to pick up.

indeed, 69 with an SBC. The weird thing is that the PO clearly had intention to install the linkage, he just...didn't.

the 4 speed, but I can extend the linkage from the 3 speed if necessary.

Rather than try to cobble together all the factory hi lo linkage that requres brackets under the dash and a bellhousing pivot point you'll have to fabricate from scratch, I have a JDM floorshift hi-lo shift lever from a firetruck that was designed for use with the vacuum operated front wheel drive. $100 plus the ride.

I think that should work., I have a similar horn to attach to on the transfer case and this pivot on the transmission that will hopefully be the same diameter as the bolt in your pic. man, it looks way dirtier in this picture than in real life lol

I think it’s interesting how they ran the link inboard to get it around the vacuum diaphragm. The top cover is the ONLY one I’ve ever seen that had a Lo range indicator light. in a cruisergeek kind of way.
