Help: Pic of standard mudflaps required

Hi all,

I recently took my 105 to Westerberg Panel Beaters here in Albany, WA for a ding and to replace a front mudflap that was slightly damaged.

When i went back to collect, i found they had replaced both front mudflaps. They look very different to my old mudflaps. However, they told me that the new ones are standard Toyota mudflaps and that was what i was getting. There wasn't much room for discussion.

Does anyone have a photo of standard front mudflaps (on the vehicle) so i can compare? Some photos of the ones they have fitted are below.

They look nothing like the OEM ones I installed last year.

Edit: just noticed you're in Australia and it was for a 105 (though I can't imagine they'd be that different to the 100's here seeing how at least the body is the same). If you're on Facebook join the "100/105 Series Land Cruiser Owners" group and see if they have any pics.

Thanks... i've sent a request to join the facebook group you mention. Yeh, i think it's pretty obvious Westerberg have installed a generic mudflap - one that doesnt even fit well - and are just giving me the runaround. I'll call them up after the weekend to see if they still have the old ones, as i'd rather have them back with the slight damage rather than these badly fitting ones.

Don't blame you there bro,

If they didn't offer to give you back or let you see the damaged replaced parts you might not want to use them again.

Hope you get your stock flaps back,

I'm just jealous you have a 105,
