Help on where this bushing goes (1 Viewer)

I am in the process of rebuilding a 78 4 speed transmission and transfer case. While putting things back together, I for the life of me can't figure out where this bushing goes. I have tried it on every gear and shaft in the transmission with no luck. I haven't delved into putting the transfer case back together but looking at all the parts for it, I cant seem to locate where it goes.
I have looked at the parts lists in the OEM manual but cannot locate it there either.
