I have a 1974 FJ40 and my clutch release fork broke. I ordered one from Toyota Village but it is the wrong fork. What i had is a stamped steel, what they sent is a cast iron fork

Does anyone know where I can obtain a proper fork? I have searched suggested websites and they have all shown unavailable. Thanks for any input.

Specter off road

Or

Cruiserparts.net must have that.

Are you sure that one doesn't work?

You could try beno or Sam Stewart (mud names) by PM. They're both Toyota parts guys.

Every time I've called cruiserparts.net they had what I needed. Definitely better and quicker to call them than request parts thru their website.

i have had 2 74 fj40s that used the cast fork with the 3 speed to bearing from the factory .need the pivot ball that goes with the cast fork i also use the cast fork in my 3 speeds when there is a problem .

There are 3 or 4 I saw on ebay tonight. Hope you find what your looking for they ranged from 15.00 to 30.00.

Do you have a 3 finger clutch or a diaphragm type clutch?

i have a nice clean one here you can have shipped for 22 .50 its the stamped one been laying around for over 20 years so it not had much use
