Help need axle seals for bj70 stateside

I have an 85 jap spec bj70 and need some rear axle seals. I took my rear drums off and noticed that the shoes were soaked in rear end fluid. Does anyone know if US spec land cruiser seals are interchangeable? From reading up online Im under the impression that there is an inner seal and outer seal so I would probably be better off replaceing both. Some part numbers would be great.

Full floater or semi floater? You have the VIN for your truck which will allow you to trace the part numbers via TOYODIY. From there you should be good.

I assume you have a full floater. If so, you will need the following:

90310-35001 x2 (axle seal)
90311-62001 X2 (hub oil seal)
43422-60010 x2 (axle flange gasket)
12157-10010 x2 (diff gaskets)

You are ready to roll. Any Toyota dealersip can get these for you.

according to my vin plate i have K082 diff. I searched that and it appears to be a semi floater which has one seal per side. I just ordered that seal from toyota(toyodyi p/n) so i hope its the right part. Im working on this thing at work and i need to drive it home so its kind of a one shot deal lol.

That's not quite accurate.

There were changes with the full floater models after 1990.
