You sir are having classic symptoms of 80 withdrawal...time for a fix! ;)
I'm trying. I'm getting the shakes the withdrawals are so bad. I have cash in hand and have been contacting everyone I know and don't know that has a built 80. There are three major issues I'm running into; nobody local and nobody wants to ship, nobody wants to sell, and finally everyone wants top top dollar for their rig since asking prices for 80s right now are stupid high. The good news is that none are selling at those high prices. The rigs that are actually selling on mud and craigslist are still in the normal/sane price range. Folks are seeing HUGE asking prices all across craigslist and even starting to show on mud and then making the conclusion that their 250k 80 with a mild build and faded paint must be worth 12-15k since that's what the folks in Texas and Cali are asking. Nobody remembers to look at the dates the ads were posted which is usually many months old. Sorry. Rant done. Let's get this thread back on topic. I personally like the two tone look of the tan top and black bottom. That will be one of the first mods once I find an 80.

Looks good, what was the donor vehicle for the fender flares? Looks similar to the dodge HD truck flares.

This looks great!
Can you show a picture a little closer to see the texture? Is it smooth or rough?
I'm curious how the texture comes out when sprayed.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Please tell me this is some Photoshop fun I mean, ..........no one would do that in real life to an 80 would they?

regards

Dave
That vehicle sat for sale on Austin Craigslist for a VERY long time...

I am looking at this on my phone. When i saw the close-up you posted, i thought i was looking at a motorcycle gas tank on a sidewalk. Then i realized what it is. Wow!

White for its universal qualities and longevity. It hides dirt and imperfections and stays cool in the hot sun. Not to mention, there are many different shades of white.

Not sure what you mean.
I mixed a pint of color to 1 kit of raptor liner.

OK so 1 pint per bottle and I assume you just got the pints from auto paint Store and they matched the code of the color you wanted?

Still on the fence between factory white or maybe the anvil blue color on the new wranglers

1 pint of base coat per KIT. There are 4 bottles in a kit. Put all four bottles in a bucket, dump in 1 pint of color. Redistribute evenly back in to bottles, add Gardner, and shake.
