I picked these seats up to use in one of my 40's. The seller said they were from a mid 90's 4 runner, but I didn't see any 4 runners at his house. I am going to have to hack up the seat sliders/brackets to make these work, and am thinking they may end up being to tall in the end. I'd like to know what vehicle they came out of so I can source some replacement sliders in the event I don't like these and want to re-sell them after I modify the sliders. Anyone recognize these? I did an hour of searching last night, mostly on eBay and did not see any seats that looked like this....its possible that they didn't come out of a 4 runner or mini truck though....appreciate any insight. The passenger seat had a small pull cable with a loop on it for releasing the seat forward for entry/exit into the rear of whatever vehicle they came out of.

According to ChatGPT:
"These seats look like they came from a 1980s–early 1990s Toyota pickup or 4Runner.

The fabric pattern, flat bolsters, integrated headrests with metal posts, and overall shape are very characteristic of Toyota truck interiors from that era (particularly around 1984–1988). They were commonly found in SR5 trims with cloth upholstery."

Since the passenger seat has the setback release, I'm guessing a pickup.

However I disagree about the 1984-88 years and think its 89 and later.

I have yet to see anything from that era in this fabric configuration with the vinyl headrests, and the bolstering also looks more prominent. I guess its possible thevye been recovered…..here are a couple more photos.

these may not even be truck seats
I think this is the case. I spent more time than I care to admit searching last night for something similar and what I kept finding is that the early seats had the sliders integrated with vertical plates that mounted to the side of the seat base, and the sliders/rails for these seats bolt directly to the bottom of the seat base. The metal structure of the bottom of the seat base is also different from every 4runner/truck seat I could find photos of (mostly from eBay listings). I meant to snap some photos of the sliders and the bottoms of the seat bases last night but got sidetracked. Appreciate the input.

I did not see a single seat with 3 rows on the seat back upholstery like these have either.....

Since the passenger seat has the tilt-forward function, I'd doubt they are 4Runner (unless it's the 2-door) 2nd-gen or later 4Runner. No need for the tilt function on a 4-door. Maybe they're 2-door car seats?

Thanks. I liked the look and condition of them compared to the OEM buckets in my 40, and the 40 seat are so darned flat and uncomfortable, I thought these would be a decent upgrade. The guy had a history of Facebook sales of all kinds of minitruck and 4 runner parts so I just took his word for it that they came from a 4 runner.

I'm almost 100% sure those are Nissan Pathfinder or Hardbody pickup seats. Look to be 1993-1995. This bring-a-trailer ad has some interior pics

I would take a screwdriver, remove one or two screws on release handle, then remove the two screws that hold on plastic trim, to see manufacture and maybe part number

Those are definitely them, thanks Wyatt! Sorry to bugger up this subforum with non-toyota stuff. Appreciate everyone's help.
