Trying to baseline the LC I got 2 months ago, getting all the sketchy electrical back in order. Everything back here was unplugged, so I plugged back in the speaker and what I assume is an amp. Found this additional plug in the rear passenger side quarter panel next to the subwoofer. Anyone know what this belongs to? Any help would be appreciated.

I could be wrong but I believe that is either the trailer harness socket or used for vehicles with the rear A/C system. The clear tube would be for a vehicle with barn doors which ours do not have. I have owned several 80s and IIRC none of them had anything plugged into the socket from the factory.

The Scotchlock wire clips in the picture look to be securing an aftermarket trailer wiring adapter. I too think the connector is for a Toyota OE trailer wiring adapter.

The connector housing looks like the rear locker junction. I'd have to look through my notes to be sure. It's in the EWD and Wire Harness Repair manual.
