Hi guys
I am planning to install a DTS turbo for my 105 series landcruiser !
At the same time I prefer to have a 3'' exhaust but as it comes with a catalytic convertor, it's very hard to find some one who is having one in the shelf in 3'' !
Is there anyone who can guide me !
Much appreciated..

Most exhaust shops can make one up. I had one made for my 105 when I had a 1hdt installed. I replaced the 1hz which cracked a piston ( had a dts turbo). Mine did not have an inter cooler. Where are you located?

Thanks
I am located in Kalgoorlie WA! Hard to find here! Planning to buy a 3'' universal cat convertor n use 100 series 3'' exhaust with DTS !
Any advise, much appreciated..

Mine didn't need a catalytic converter as the motor I fitted and the 1999 105 didn't come with one. But I know likely and walker make 3 inch cats for diesels, so just money is required! It's a tight fit but mine does not touch or rattle after some 30,000 ks

Questions from a Yankee: Why do you want a 3" exhaust? Does it improve performance that much? Wouldn't a cat-back be as efficient? Are you also going to open up the intake with a freer flowing intake?

BTW, My wife and I have visited your country a couple of times on surf trips and we fell in love with your country! In fact, we almost immigrated there as missionaries to Byron Bay, NSW in 2000.

You wont need a cat convertor on a diesel 105. You'll need the flex joint. On the DTS kit you'll find a 2.5 inch exhaust from the turbo back more than enough. Check out beaudesert exhaust systems, they send all over australia with down pipes to suit your new turbo application. Be an afternoon job at most to install.

it does .. you will be amazed ..

Yeah, what Mutley said, forget about the cat, I had a similar set up to the dts on my old 105, i just ran a flexi joint and and hot dog on the end of a straight through 3". No problems with it. I made the exhaust myself (which I will never do again!) It was fine but it was a tight squeeze between the transfer and the chassis, and again when running it over the rear diff to the back.

I made it easy ..

Hi Guys.. Thanks for all your information..
I just found that the DTS turbo which I bought for my 105 series hasn't got a access for EGR valve on the exhaust manifold and when I spoke to the seller, he said that it has to be blanked !
Is there anyone who has installed a DTS turbo on 105 series!
If yes can you plz give some info..
Much appreciated..

<-- jealous of Aussies/UKs/etc choices when it comes to engines.

Come on Toyota, give us some diesel options!
