Hi all, I'm hoping someone knows of a vendor who makes custom drag links bars for the FJ40. I have a saganaw power steering on one end.( i'm thinking its a GM tie rod end) and standard Toyota tie rod end on the other end. The problem is, whoever originally build my FJ40 welded the tie rod end at the Saganaw end of the drag link rod. It looks hokey and now the tie rode is worn and I cant replace it. Anyway i need a custom length that will accept the toyota tie rod at one end and Gm tie rod at the other.

optionally if someone can tell what they did from the power steer saganaw, idler arm, drag link and tie rod ends that would be great. I may just replace everything. My power steering box sits outside of the engine compartment just in front of the front grill along the inner frame rail

let me know much appreciated.

Check with Advance Adapters, they sell Saginaw kits for 40's. They should have the parts you need.

4 plus products, Valley Hybrids or Cruiser Outfitters should have something as well.

I’ve used the 4 plus weld in adaptors on DOM for a 60 conversion and they turned out really well. Don’t forget Ruffstuff either.
