Help finding owner of this service book (1 Viewer)

I received this service manual in a purchase year ago. I figure the only chance of tracking down the owner is on MUD, I want to get this back to the rightful owner.

Google fu reveals Paul Kearns of Oklahoma passed away in 2014.. Cool gesture, maybe he's got some family who could be reached?

I thought it would be cool if either the family or the person who still has the FJ40 could get this back. Mine came with the dealers window sticker and a bunch of other cool literature so I know how neat it is to have the vehicle and some of it's original paperwork

I love it, he traded in a 68 Camero for the 40. Hobbies: hunting and fishing!

The paperwork shows his name to be L. Paul Kearns. Leland Paul Kearns passed in 1987, apparently on his 41st birthday. The age listed on the sales paperwork (24 in June 1971) matches up perfectly with his birth date. The obituary was published in The Oklahoman, 21 Dec 1987, page 23, column 1. You need a subscription account to search the archives, but next of kin would be listed there, pre-internet and all. A MUDer local to the area may be able to help pull that page from the archive. KEARNS Leland Paul, 41, died Dec. 19, 1987 at home. He served in the US Navy Medical Corps in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jean Kearns; parents Paul and Maureen Kearns; father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Meryle Hainey; sister-in-law, Kathryn Ford and many friends who loved him.
