Working on my ‘00 LX470, changing rear brake pads and rotors.
everything is going back together fine, torque specs says 76ft/lbs for the rear disc torque plate , and I’ve now sheared off the 2nd bolt in the guide pin.
have I got the wrong specs??

… And this is what keeps shearing

Bummer, you're just looking at the wrong fastener. 76 is for the caliper bracket bolt goes through knuckle. I'm not sure why it's listed twice in under different names with different specs though? In the diagram they're calling the bolt you pictured a guide bolt (and the parts diagram doesn't match the fasteners and guide pin you pictured.) 76 is too much as you figured out.

I second just junkcrzr's comment where did you find information?

Where the hell did you get those torque specs??? See here: https://lc100e.github.io/manual/
I'm an idiot - bought something off eBay that claimed to be a repair manual. The specs were there, but incomplete. CLEARLY.

That's what makes this forum the place to go. I'm just mad I didn't look here first, but apparently I have lost my search skills in all this time at home...
🤦‍♂️

Not an idiot, just tricked. Happens to the best of us. Full FSM with ALL torque specs is in the link I posted above.

You are a king. Thank you so much, I appreciate it!

What about this little guy?
2 8mm bolts here, do they need/have specific torque?
