I can help you Tuesday evening if you still need it thenHad a great time at fall crawl with everyone. Pumba is cleaned up and disassembly is starting this afternoon on rear bumper and roof rack. If anyone is available today or tomorrow give me holler. Appreciate it ahead of time!
I'm keeping the flares. Not pulling flares?
Yes, but you will have to be careful. One can end up cuttig out a lot of suff one may not want to cut. It is all about getting the flame set, pre heat to cherry and then blow it out with the 2nd O2 lever.does anyone know how to use Oxy/acetylene for cutting metal? I've got a working setup from my neighbor and was thinking it would save a lot of time when cutting motor mounts off or doing the SOA conversion instead of grinding. I would like to learn how to properly use the torch.
Ok makes sense. would you be willing to do a tech day on the subject some time in the new year?Yes, but you will have to be careful. One can end up cuttig out a lot of suff one may not want to cut. It is all about getting the flame set, pre heat to cherry and then blow it out with the 2nd O2 lever.
Happy to. When you are ready to cut stuff out we can. or the best would be practice on the Chevy truck! Cut it up and take whats left to scrap.Ok makes sense. would you be willing to do a tech day on the subject some time in the new year?

no clue?Any issues with drilling and tapping a PPS steering box(progressive powers steering, the one with the solenoid) and adding a ram assist steering?
I don't think it'll cause issues but not 100% sure. The solenoid at highway speeds limits fluid flow making the steering feel stiffer. At low speeds the solenoid allows for full flow.no clue?
Man! That was a hell of a deal you go there. That thing is massive!!!Just wanted to give @Land Shark a shout out. He took time out of his day to go pick up a Yukon solo stove for my wife and I in Richmond. Thank you again Alan ill get down there soon to grab it
