Send me a text and we can figure out when you can borrow my welder

Planning on August 16th early morning until around 2-3pm getting as much done on the 62 as I can. I plan to focus on shifter linkage for the transmission, welding up some patches on the interior, and maybe routing coolant lines (or at least getting them fully planned out). Many other things to work on but trying to be realistic. Will provide lunch to whoever is able to come out.

So after picking up Pumba from body shop, I noticed the transmission hunting between gears at around 50mph with light throttle input. After checking throttle cable, kick down cable, transmission temp, fluids and transmission codes (none) everything points to shift solenoid issues located on the valve body. Also dud lots of research on Ih8mud and someone has my exact symptoms and new shift solenoids fixed the issue. Parts are ordered. In the next couple weeks I hope to be doing this, so if you want to see what it takes to drop the pan on an A442F transmission and replace shift solenoids, you are welcome to. I'll post again when I know I'm doing this.
