Hey Guys,

I wanted to introduce myself. I just joined the forum and wanted to say hello. I met Matt the other day while trying to sell him my truck and he not only convinced me to keep it but I bought a lift the next day. (Matt you should be in sales.) I am in a 97 goldish LX450 and hope to get to do a ride and camping trip soon. My truck is kinda hard to hide as its the only lexus I've seen with a snorkel. Look forward to meeting some of Matts gang(my words not his)

Ryan

Let the bama/LSU jokes begin.:D

850/863 Pro Comp ES9000 and let you help me with the control arms:)

That would be great. I really just need a press and some advice. I like doing the work and would be happy to help others. Let me know when y'all pick a date. Thanks!

Welcome to DixieLand

Welcome to the disease. Didn't we talk briefly at a red light on south-side back in November? I drive a two tone Cruiser on 35's that looks allot like yours.

Glad to see a new name pop up now and again.

Hey Blackdog thanks for the welcome. I remember. I think you had just gotten your tires on. Your truck looks good. Pretty much what I am going for, DD, but can still get out there and hang. Look forward to meeting again when we don't have to chat in between redlights.

"Welcome aboard! Glad to see another cruiser head in Bama."

Thanks BamaPaul. I am faily new to the cruiser game, so i am glad to have so much support via the forum and now Dixieland. I have built several jeeps and one SCOUT. But the cruiser sure has been a great all around vehicle. Actually haven't wheeled it much but hope that will change soon.

Welcome!

Let me know when ya'll wrench, I'll come watch.

welcome to the show.

I would invite you down to tuscaloosa but I know you coudnt get more than 1/2 way.

welcome to the game ************

Awesome. Can't believe it took someone that long to let me have it. Hopefully our quarterback will show up to the next game. Yours had the game of his life.

I am curious, do you have a snorkel on an otherwise stock cruiser?

Doesn't everyone?
I can't claim credit for the snorkel it was on there when I bought it. Hopefully won't be stock to much longer. I have the ome on the way and the 315's. I hope they aren't gonna rub to much.

some people say they run 315s on stock springs, with any kind of lift you should be fine.

315s fit perfectly with the springs you ordered. What kind did you go with?

I went with the 850 and 863's. Matt do you think I will need to drop the swaybar in the front? It seems like it would be easy to fab. Just get some 1 inch square bar and some longer bolts from the rear mount. Thoughts?

What kind of tires did you decide on?

Yes, the swaybar drops are super easy. I cut the front one and welded in a piece of 1/2 pipe. Rear I built new drop brackets but need to extend them some more. tube with holes drilled and some longer bolts is the easiest.
