Hello,
I'm a Brit expat working in Saudi Arabia and I've owned a Prado Landcruiser for the last 8 years. I bought it new and have done 132000 kilometres so far. The only pictures I have available on Photobucket are these, which unfortunately show me stuck in a ditch (a bit embarrassing). I was driving with a camera stuck out of the window trying to photograph some birds. Not concentrating on where I was going, I ended up in a ditch. :o :whoops:

Fortunately, help was at hand. :D

Welcome;

Spent many years in sand land. If u get the chance to work in Abha, its the only place to be; snows in July.

Well to MUD!!! Awesome pics and the terrain looks sweet
Thanks. The pictures were taken in Bahrain on a farm we have access to. In the background of the first picture is the sea. To the left of the second picture is an elevated field where I was trying to get some pictures. Most of my driving is done on the road so my tyres are not quite up to those muddy conditions. :)

Welcome to mud! That is a very nice Prado, looks very well maintained!!

Thanks, I do take care of it as I want it to last my time out here in Saudi. Sadly it does not look quite as good at the moment as I reversed into a wooden post a couple of weeks ago and damaged the righthand rear wheel fender. :whoops: A couple of the brackets under the fender have snapped off so it looks as if I'll have to find a body shop that can repair it. :wrench:

welcome, and is it true that gas is only 5 cents over there?

sweet rig, I like that color

Thanks for the welcome. Gas in Saudi Arabia is 6 cents a litre for 95 octane. :cheers:

thats awesome, it still costs me nearly 100 bucks when I fill up!!

Be happy! :) 95 octane cost here 1,54 €/litre, diesel 1,43 €/litre. Means about US $2,4/litre!!! = $9/gallon = full tank (of gas) is over $200. :mad:
