Hello from a new member

Longtime lurker. First-time poster.
I had been researching and looking for a cruiser for almost three years. The depth of knowledge and know-how posted on this site is nothing short of amazing. I finally figured out exactly what I wanted out of an LC and pulled the trigger. Twice. I picked up a super clean 2014 silver 200 with 93k miles and then a month later I struck gold finding a 2018 LC with 7k miles, so I couldn't let that pass me by. I haven't figured out how to convince my wife I need both of these plus my truck...

The 2018 will get some new tires and eventually some new wheels, whenever those come back in stock. I already have a GROM Vline to add carplay. I can see it getting a Prinsu rack at some point too.

As for the silver 2014, it's going to be sold. There is no reason to have two 200 series and a 1500 pickup truck. A neighbor who hoards LC's ( has two 60's and an 80 ) is interested in it already. With the sale I might aim to find an already built 60, 62 or 80.

Welcome! Its a slippery slope. Many of us here own multiple, its hard to pass up on a nice one when you find it. I love my 200, but there is something special about cruising in an older one too. So i like your idea of selling the older 200 and getting an 80 or 60. Enjoy!

LOL Thankfully, I don't have to worry about that. She's too in love with her 2021 Volvo to bother with one of the cruisers.

Same, I've suggested a new LC to my wife for several years but she won't part with her Volvo. So I finally had to buy the 200 for myself. I have to admit though, lots of things I love about her volvo. I wish I had it's 3 level heated steering wheel, in the cold Wyoming winter the heat put out by the Toyota wheel is barely noticable compared to hers. The R-Design seats are super comfortable too and the Bowers Wilkins sounds system is pretty amazing.

The Bowers Wilkins stereo is out of this world. I got her the T8 hybrid and she loves to tell me how long it's been since she's had to put gas in it. The best part is the polestar for the highway drives. Not that i've done 95 in it, but it sure feels like 65.

Ha ha, yes it does feel like 65. And we are also loving the polestar. Did it as an add on with her first xc90 so her second we just ordered it that way. Haven't tried the hybrid yet, maybe we should. After we bought her first one we did a road trip up through Glacier, into Banff and back down western ID. It was such a fun road trip and we couldn't believe how little driver fatigue we had, I don't know if I've ever been uncomfortable in those seats. Our 4runner we had before the Volvos was uncomfortable after an hour. Luckily the LC is much better than the 4runner.

She's been wanting a new one. We don't really need the size of the xc90 anymore. But we'll likely end up with that or a v90 Crosscountry because we're used to the deluxe features and power.

Also, good score on the 2018. My 2021 already has 7k miles on it.
