OK, I'm a newbie and I LOVE my 94 FJ. Only problem is my heater kicked out on me this week. It went slowly, working periodically, then quit totally.
Ideas?
Hopefully I can get this baby fixed before a c-c-c-cold morning in the Colorado mountains! :D
THANKS!

First thing to check is the coolant. Are you sure you sufficient fluid in the resevoir?

Symptoms? No heat, just cold air? No fan? Floor full of coolant?

Wow... simple fix! It was low on antifreeze, and after a fill-up I'm back in business. Easy solution to this one. Thanks guys!

could be signs of a HG

Indicitive of a possible headgasket issue. Monitor the coolant level closely.

I'd have the oil tested at your next oil change. It will either confirm or deny a bad head gasket. The bubble test didn't work for me.
