Heater Hose Diagram?

I have looked in the FSM for a good diagram of the hoses.. where they go, how the flow.. the FSM only shows a fraction of the system. I am trying to put my system back together.. and did not take a pic of the heater jumble in the rear of the engine. On the DS there is a hose that goes opening pointing down.. it is behind the pipe screwed into the intake manifold and the pipe going to the egr valve.

does anyone know where that thing plugs in?

87248B Is the part. I see it on the diagram but I have no idea where the lower part connects to

Is this some sort of drain??? - - nothing is connected in this pic and I can't remember removing a hose from there. What is up? Does anyone know what this pipe connects to?

If you are referring to the metal pipe going down the side of the motor??

[STRIKE]If yes, it goes down the Pesky Heater Hose... on the side of the motor.[/STRIKE]

EDIT: - The metal line you are referring to has two outlets... One for the heater core, the second outlet connects to the rear heater line...

That is close... I have hoses attached to three of the four connections on the pipe... I am looking for the one facing down, where does it connect?...

kAHHH>.. DUH... ok.. thanks.. I just put my finger up the hole... and no hole.. I should have done that earlier.. it is an odd looking dead end tho.
