Anyone know of good after market headlights replacement that looks cool, plug & play (minor mod ok) and near water tight?

Best bet for "cool" looking is the Depo's (not available), or the project headlights from eBay (garbage). Best bet for improving output is a retrofit (best) or pnp HID's (slight improvement, with many drawbacks). The huge HID thread had all the info you can possibly need.

I just ordered these depos: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004I1B6K0/?tag=ihco-20

But I'm swapping the whole front end to 2006-07. They won't fit otherwise.

I have an extra set of stock head lights...06/07 Going to send my lights to Nick(2000UZJ) at some point and have him do a retrofit for me.

All 3 of my original Toyota headlight sets are all plastic....I think 05 and below are glass.

The retrofit looks promising if one can clear-up pitting of glass lenses.

When you do this, perhaps you can better document the process? I have read the few threads on it and the biggest part always missing is what exactly needs trimming on the fenders to make the light work/fit. It is also the main reason I have never made the swap. I would love to see a better write-up with pictures of the process if you can....PLEASE.

I agree. Mine is a little complicated because my current front end is smashed. I'm not sure if I should tell the shop to fix everything behind the grill and then so the headlights grill and trim pieces myself. If I do it myself ill do a wrote up on it.
