But I'm swapping the whole front end to 2006-07. They won't fit otherwise.
The retrofit looks promising if one can clear-up pitting of glass lenses.Best bet for "cool" looking is the Depo's (not available), or the project headlights from eBay (garbage). Best bet for improving output is a retrofit (best) or pnp HID's (slight improvement, with many drawbacks). The huge HID thread had all the info you can possibly need.

At one time, Depo offered a retrofit version that had this 06-07 style but were drop in replacements for the earlier 100's.Can you tell me what parts are needed to retrofit these headlamps on a 2001 LC? I am having no luck trying to find replacements. Thanks
I've not tried this with glass, but why not! Has anyone to any success? Not much you can do with pitted glass other than soap and water. That's the advantage with plastic.
When you do this, perhaps you can better document the process? I have read the few threads on it and the biggest part always missing is what exactly needs trimming on the fenders to make the light work/fit. It is also the main reason I have never made the swap. I would love to see a better write-up with pictures of the process if you can....PLEASE.
