I am in the process of cleaning up my owned since new 100 LC. It is coming along nicely and looks great.

I replaced the yellowed fog lamps and am now looking at the headlights. I need a new left one as it has a leak and a star on the lens from a rock. The right one is fine except for the yellowed, plastic lens on one of the bulbs inside it.

In looking a parts breakdowns for the headlight I haven't come across just that part alone. Is there any way to update just that yellowed, plastic part inside the headlamp?

You likely have to buy the headlamp assembly. For a cheaper solution, you Might not get it back to new, but you could try a 3m or other quality headlamp refinishing kit for the lens (the kit with the pads that can be attached to a drill).

Thank you

The right one is fine except for the yellowed diffuser over one of the bulbs inside the housing. I was hoping to be able to just replace that item on that side

The lens are glass so they don't discolor like the plastic ones do. It's is crystal clear.

The new OEM are $212 and I don't see any after market ones for $100. One that I did see on Amazon a comment was left that the lens was plastic not glass.

I'll keep searching.

I suspect you're talking about the little plastic cover over the parking light.

I remember this thread about wanting to remove them, without cracking open the headlight:
How Can I Remove Plastic Cover Over Parking Light

I doubt you'll find that part from Toyota, as they're going to consider that part of the headlight assembly.

Probably your only chance on fixing that, without replacing the headlight, would be to find a donor headlight that has one of those covers in better condition than yours and swap them.

On the other hand if you're already going to have to buy 1 headlight, you might want to talk to ranma21:

There aren't any cheaper ones for 100s with glass lenses. I don't think that the yellowed diffuser I was looking for is a replaceable item. It is in the sealed part of the headlamp
