Headlight housing question lx 470 glass vs plastic. (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

A few quick questions.

Do the glass 98-02 Headlight housings fit the later models in a direct plug and play fashion? Are all bulbs and connectors the same? I have an 06 with a cracked passenger lens so am considering options.

Do the Cygnus headlights from the Japan market meet US regs, to pass inspection?

Has an aftermarket glass Or plastic lens Replacement ever been discussed someone undertaking?

Glass headlights went all the way up to the 2005 MY. I know the 06/07 lights were all one piece vs the two parts for earlier models (99-05). I think I remember reading that they were not interchangeable due to the updated design.

All year LX470's have cross compatible headlamps. The Cygnus headlamps are RHD and not a recommended replacement for the US.
