One of my favorite places. We were just out in the area doing a mountain goat census.
Have fun and I’d be up for a future trip! Any particular trails you recommend that are 200 friendly? I was just in Breck and Keystone to bike last month and heading to Winter Park for a few days of lift assisted biking bliss.

No clue, it'll be my first time there. I'll let you know what I find. I know there are some people here who've been there off road....
Make sure to download the COTREX app to your device. You can create routes from your web browser too. Colorado Trail Explorer (COTREX) - https://trails.colorado.gov/#activity=ohv_gt_50 . I like the trails off of Tiger Rd. You can hit the Middle and North Fork of the Swan River trails, then go through Radical Hill up to Handcart Gulch and end up in Red Cone for a spectacular view. I was there this Sunday and ran into 10 mountain goats. I went up on my SxS, but there were a bunch of Jeeps on the trail and a GX at the top, so I'm sure the LC would make it.

There are several trails near Breck such as those around Montezume which can be accessed via the road by Keystone ski resort. You’ll need a map to outline where they are. The best is the spiral-bound book by Wells & Peterson. Their book for the trails south of I-70 is the mountain goat’s gruff.
1) Don’t do Radical Hill.
2) Santa Fe provides a phenomenal view but don’t drive the remaining 100 feet unless you’ve got nerves of steel.
3) Saints John is easy and fun. Great views.
4) Boreas Pass is more suited for the wannabe off-roader. Very easy but views are meh.
5) Mosquito Pass is easy. Good views. It’s one of the original roads up to Leadville.
There are too more trails to list here. Whatever you do take plenty of food, water, etc. Be sure you know where you’re going so you don’t make the mistake I did years ago by going down radical hill unknowningly. If you’re on a tough trail remember the vehicle going up has the right of way.

Thanks everyone for the responses! I did Baldy Rd to Baldy Peak. Super easy gravel road. Great views at the top. The other trail I did was Montezuma to deer creek, skipped radical hill, went on to St Johns and back to Montezuma. Didn't see any wildlife unfortunately. The 200 had no issues. The top of st johns was a little sketch with a lot of exposed rocks and a steep incline but it was fine. Amazing views with a mix of forest and alpine.

Trailsoffroad.com has good trail details for most CO trails.
There's a few trails that converge between North/Middle Fork Swan, St John's etc- you can plan different routes...each have some challenges. Some good offshoots in Montezuma to explore...Chihuahua Gulch is fun but watch pinstripping. Check trail conditions for Webster Pass if you get near it. Mosquito Pass is beautiful, and Birdseye Gulch is great too, just know it's a long day getting out and back to Breck. I thought Halfmoon Creek in Leadville had incredible views and variety.

Was just out that way in July/August. We did Hagerman Pass from Basalt to Leadville. Pretty easy, nice views, limited traffic.
Hope you had a good time. Wish I had seen this earlier as I was up Montezuma yesterday
