Im a senrior in the UNM Mechanical engineering program as well.

this is also my first time ever posting to any forum ever so sorry if this isnt in the right place!
The current lift im doing i ended up getting too small of springs for the rear and figured id include this in my post to see if anyone may be interested in buying them from me, they are bilstein 36-281817, theyre brand new and have been installed once no scratches on them though!

Oh, BTW, we sort of have a rule here. We all like porn. Pictures of the truck or it doesn't exist.

Got it! Still trying to figure out where to get it aligned but I've got a few garage pics for now, have a sort of squat going on because of my error in buying the rear springs

4th gens for the win! Am I right?! @alia176 @abraly also Ash (alia176) may or may not have some 2" springs to sell, don't know if he ever sold them off after trying several on his rig.

Welcome , Jacob. Nice vehicle to build up. Thanks for the pictures. You are now officially real!!
Looks like you MTN bike some, also. Good for you.
Hope to wheel with you sometime in the future.

ToyoMasters can do your alignment PDQ.

Welcome Jacob! I do happen to have a set of Dobinsons C59-505 springs for sale. I bought them but didn't end up using them and staying with my current set of rear Icon coils.

This thread has all Dobinsons offerings Toyota-4Runner.org and here's the description on mine

C59-505 - Stock rear end load, 1.5" lift. 405/405mm, 17mm wire, 220LB

So, it might not be tall enough for you but if you want them, let me know. They're still in the original box and have a blem of some sort but I never opened the box. Yours for $100! I also have a set of Bilstein 600# springs for the front, in case you wanna lower your front some ;) I switched from 600# to 700# springs to account for winch+bumper. I don't know the spring rating of the OME front springs but if you're too nose high and don't plan on bringing it down with winch+bumper, maybe my 600# springs will bring it down? Yours for $50.

Lifetime alignment at Firestone is my standard go to. My favorite tech is Nate and he works at the Montgomery/Eubank Firestone branch. He's on vaca until first week of next year though.

I think I will pass on those dobsions rear springs, sounds like they won't be enough if for what need.
Those bilstiens do sound nice, do you know how I could look them up to see how much they'll lift?
At somepoint im wanting to get a front bumper but am not sure if I want to do that now or not 😂

Well, I have the Bilstein 6112s up front and check out page #2 of the installation notes on how much lift based on which groove you're using. So, it's not easy to answer your question because of too many variables when you have an adj coil overs!

So after some research those coils won't work with the 5100 shocks, they have a different perch style. I appreciate the offers!
I ended up deciding to add some weight via a bumper, always wanted one and now had a reason to get one!

Will Jacob #2 and other new visitors to HDC please post up here so that we have your names connected to your userids? ;)

For that matter, please go through the list and make sure you are there. If you are not, message me and I will add you.

Thought I'd posted to this thread but apparently not, been a member over a year. Name is Jeff, most often it's myself and my wife Mary at the events and runs. My screen name is usually J_L but mud didn't like the underscore so it's my full initials. Go ahead and put me on the list please, @pappy .
