Unfortunately Gene3x has been on since 01-09-07 so we are probably not going to find out how his went unless someone knows him and can get him back here for some photos and a report.

Can someone shoot him an email? If you click on his name it gives the option.

I’ve been fighting towing with my rig. You’ve seen pictures, but I’ll explain.
I started towing my new trailer (large pop-up) with the original setup that I was using.
My motorcycle carrier on the LC, the trailer ball attached to carrier. But with the new trailer it was overloaded. So I made a bumper for the back of the trailer with a receiver for the biker carrier.
Well that solved the problem with the weight, but it caused some sway. I added some tension to the anti-sway control to fix that. Although it wasnt affecting my vehicle, I could see it sway while looking in the mirror. This bothered me some, and I noticed some tire wear.

The new setup I’ve tried last is using a weight distributing hitch with my original set up.
(Bike on the back of the LC, the WD hitch on the bike carrier, then the trailer.)
It towed really nice, no sway sat nice.
It’s looks dumb using a WD hitch with a pop-up, but it works really nice.
