This is related to my ABS, VSC,ATRAC, BRAKE lights all being illuminated on my dash. Took my truck to an indy service center yesterday and they weren't able to connect to my ABS ECU. Told me I probably would need a new unit. I test that the ECU is getting power and grounds all check good to unit.

If I do replace this unit is it just plug and play or does it need to be flashed or something like this?

Plug and play. Mine went out. It took ACC all day to figure it out. They pulled one from another truck and swapped them to determine if mine was actually bad and bobs your uncle.

I reccomend trying to get a used one. The new ones are hugely expensive and yours would be only the second I have heard going bad that was not submerged.

Have you read the christmas tree code thread?

Couldn't find anything about Christmas tree codes in my search. Thanks for replying to my post. I did confirm abs does't work while stopping on the brakes. Have found a used unit which is still $700.00
