I'm looking for a hardtop windshield cap for a 72 FJ40. Wipers are on the top and it the windshield frame has 4 mounting holes.

I actually have one on my roof, but the mounting holes don't line up. It only has two mounting holes and they're not even close to lining up. The top must be from an earlier year. I'm putting it on a 72. Also, the cutouts for the wipers are in the correct spot, but need to be made bigger. I guess my question is can I use the existing one and simply drill the necessary holes? I know that seems simple enough, but I've painfully learned through the years that slight changes in cruisers can bring big headaches when trying to make different model year parts work together....LOL!I have a repro in fiberglass no holes drilled. It will never rust and can be bonded without rivets.
