Is one cable possibly a hand throttle?

Possible I guess. The stock choke knob is on the dash and is one of the cables.

A generic auto parts store knob with a "C" on it is the other. I intend to remove this.

If anyone can tell me where the stock one connects, I'd appreciate it.

The FJ25 thru the 67 model FJ40 knobs had choke and throttle on them. 68 thru 3/69 they had symbols. What the 3/69-9/69 I'm not sure. But if you have two factory openings for cable one of those may have been for a throttle. My 10/69 70 model has a chrome plug where the throttle cable went.

@Living in the Past The "C" knob looks really out of place. What do you think?

Also put up pics of the cable connections at carb. I have my finger on the one that connects to the accelerator pedal.

The one on the right should be the throttle and looks stock. One on left is the choke location but is not a stock choke cable.

Spent most of yesterday installing a new washer & dryer. However, I did manage to get my seat out of storage and in place and also picked up some gear lube at Oh oh oh O'Reilly's.

My wife picked this artwork. Her and I spent a few minutes getting it hung up.
