After a great time in MD last month, this month's happy hour will be at Gordon Biersh in Tysons Corner. Everyone should fit in the parking garage so lets all try to park together on the top deck (directions will follow shortly).
Official starting time will be 7pm and we'll drink until the last wife calls! Feel free to bring a buddy/spouse/invisible friend or whoever although all invisible friends will be made fun of.

Last month was a great time so come out and lets get another good turn out. So who's coming?

Here's the address

Tysons Corner Center One

It is in the new mall addition near the big AMC Theatre (can't miss it) The parking garage is on the route 7 side of the AMC theatre (there is also a garage on the 123 side). If we decide we want to crawl over to another bar, there are 3 other bars right there as well.

And in homage to two partying idols!
Party on Wayne. Party on Garth.

I can walk to Gordon Biersh from my house ( I live a few blocks from the mall), but whadda about da Vienna Inn!

Someone mentioned the Inn being too small. It's been a while since I've been there so I'm not sure about how many ppl we can get together in one spot. I seem to recall a softball team having a post-game get-together there so it seems like we should be able to figure something out.
I want chili dogs!

So, is the location back up for debate? I'm confused.

Prolly not a good time to throw it up for debate w/it being just around the corner...maybe just consider the Inn for the future?

I would say lets stick w/ Gordon Biersch this time and hit up Vienna Inn next month. I mainly chose this month's location since its a little more convenient to those coming from MD. Plus 123/route 7/66 can be a bear even at 6:30 - 7pm. Also everyone knows where Tysons Corner mall is.....

Alright, then.

John, since it's within walking distance of your house, you better show! :D

I'll stop by but I'll be on the way back from Annapolis so I might be late. I'll try to get Jim (HJ45) to come along. It's not hard to keep him away from beer. Dr. Steve might also want to go.

I'd really like to go, especially since I like drinking with you guys, but alas, I must go clothes shopping for a wedding next month. It really blows, but at least the wedding is in New Orleans.

Count me out...most probably.

I may be able to get there at 9:30 or so...but that may be too late.

Keep the VI in mind for a future meeting. It's probably best to go to the VI before softball season gets underway.

Guys, I might not make it tonight. I just came home sick from work.

Trust me. Unless the drugs really kick in, you don't want to hang out with me right now.

I stopped by around 7:30, walked through the place a few times and did not see anyone I recognized or any group of what looked like "cruiser heads".

Anybody make it there?

I asked the girl at the hostess desk if she knew of a Land Cruiser club pary and she gave me a "huh?" look...

I also hit the top deck of the garage and did not see any Cruisers except for a few FJ's.

Maybe next time? Vienna Inn? Hell, I'll wear one of my TLCA shirts this time!

I didn't make it out. I couldn't get free until after 9:30.

I hope it was fun!

That kinda happened to me at the first happy hour. I got there a few minutes early and recognized no one. John Smith walked by and sat at the bar, but seeing as I never met him before, I just stood at the entrance, waiting. I even asked the hostess and she just stared at me like I had two heads. Finally Sebastien showed up and we headed to the bar. Folks started trickling in.
