I believe I left my copy of Overland Journal after bringing it in for people to read. I'd appreciate it if someone could possibly bring it to the next event, send it back or let me know if you've got it and I can come get it some time. Otherwise, thanks David and family for the wonderful lunch and everyone else for a good day, before I had to leave. Sorry I had to take off early. It happens. Have a good one!!

Karl,

I have it and will forward it to you (after reading it!) PM me with your mailing address.

David

I had a blast it was good seeing everyone and it was a pleasure working on such a clean cruiser for once :D............. and thanks david and jen for the good eats

Sorry I missed it...family comes first (CHRISTmas get together) then had stuff at church with kids and wife. So I was slammed. I could have used another refresher on this stuff.

Still have to figure out whats the deal with a few of my lift stuff, but we shall see. Any other pics?? Glad to see another 62 get up a little.

I will post up some more pre-lift and post lift pictures along with precise measurements when I get home tonight. Sorry you couldn't make it, but family comes before just about everything. (As we said in scouts "God, family, country!")

You were there in spirit when we discussed installing shocks, i.e., I retold the story of you installing shocks on top of the Bald at 8 a.m. in 20 something degree weather!

Wow... what a difference! That's a very nice looking truck!

Very nice! Glad you got so much done. Still have sliders and what else? I found out the IPOR rear bumper I have will only fit a 60 with no modifications, the rear crossmemeber on a 62 is different, so I am debating on what I want to do.

If I can get my hands on that bender, some tube, and a little help then hopefully my 62 will be a little different as well.

Shocks, thats a funny story too, since then I havetn run any shocks at all, as the way we lined up my mounts it rubed the shocks causing them to bind. Broke one in the process. I have shock hoops to install now, just have to get it done. Miller 172 sitting in the garage begging me to learn to weld!! :bounce:

Now you just need to take your 62 to Cullowhee and get some pin striping!!!

David - The before and after pics look great! Congrats on a productive and educational HAMOM.

Thanks also for the fine hospitality and the great food provided by you and your family. I gotta get the secret from you on those pintos.

I'm keeping a clock going, just seeing how long it takes until you relent and put those Yokos on your 40 and slap some bigger meats on the 62! :D

Thanks to all of you. I learned a ton and hopefully can be the junior wrench the next time this is needed on someone else's cruiser.

Jim is still building the sliders, and the Axle rebuild has been put off indefinitely inasmuch as Marshall pronounced the axles "O'tay."

Maybe, someday, 32"s. 33"s would be tough for highway use up here.

As far as Cullowhee pinstripes - - they will match nicely with the ones I put on the 100 last time. :bounce: Truly, Cullowhee, Coal Creek, and OBX is what this build is all about. Fishing, camping, friends.

One last question, I am having trouble putting grease into one of the front shackles. The gun simply won't budge when I hook it up to the zerks. Any soultions?

Are you sure the gun's full?? Not implying anything. It can be an honest mistake. We all take it for granted at some point or another just cuz it's always sposed to be full, right.
