Most of you are probably still on the road home right now. I just wanted to say it was great to have all of you here and I really appreciated the help on the cruiser especially Darren. Though you dissapproved of my upside down and sideways ubolt brackets I enjoyed the spars at my way of doing things ( the wrong way usually).

Also Scott thank you for the Game. That was some amazing stuff. My wife really liked it as well. She said you all were a lot more down to earth then my old diesel mercedes buddies and she really enjoyed talking to those who ventured in the house. If it wasn't for having to leave on a Friday she would like to come on the trip.

As you can see I have a ways to go on the Cruiser yet and more projects and less time to get it done but if all goes right I will see all of you again in a couple of weeks.

Hopefully you all made it home safe and thank you again. It was great to meet all of you.

Jason, thanks for your hospitality and it was great to meet you. Most of us have and some of us are in your shoes, time and patience and the cruiser will be up and running just fine, if theres anything we can do or you have any questions just post up or give one of us a ring.

Thanks again,
Greg

It was greating meeting most of you today. I am sorry I could not stick around to meet the rest of you, try some of that bear, and help with some wrenching. Perhaps next time I will have the rustiest cruiser in the Carolinas with me.

Jason, thank you very much for opening up your house and yard to everyone. Those are some nice rides you have around there.

Until next time fellas,

James

Jason, Ya know in all my years of turning wrenches i have never seen them done that way, so you made my day for that. :D:D

The Jokes were all in jest though. :hillbilly::hillbilly:

Truthfully i never knew you could even mount them that way. Had never tried it myself. Good luck with the cruiser though.

Well it wasn't easy :)....I had to bend the u-bolts to get it to do that. I know I could have looked at the back but that would have made sense. But 30 minutes and a little more bending and I should be able to get it the way it is suppossed to be on there.

Address:

Sanford, NC 27332

This does not show up on Google maps but it will get you really close if you use intersection of hwy 27 & Buffallo lake rd.

Wow I didn't know people out that way considered themselves Sanford! your way out in Harnett county lol. Judging by the map I'm looking at I'm thinking I probably delivered in your neighborhood some when I was working for UPS over christmas. Hate I missed this get together...even though i wouldnt have been able to get my fj there.

Yes we are in Harnett county. You leave Sanford go through Olivia and just down the road is Cameron. It makes NO sense what so ever. We are not even in the same county. But Our USPS address is Sanford wich means I have to drive 20+ miles to get to the nearest Postal Place when they lose my package.

Don't ask me, I just live here :)

Kinda like me here. Live right by Hopeless Mills but i have a Reaford Zip. I have to go about 20 - 25 miles to get my mail also if it does not get left here.

And i work for these people.

Always thought that was funny. The ups hub is all the way in southern pines too.

UPS is right around the corner from me, even have a neighbor that is a UPS courier.

If I put a mailbox on my road (private dirt road), I'm Carthage. If I put a mailbo on eithere end of the private dirt road where it pops out on to Camp Easter Rd, I'm Southern Pines. Our property is actually in the county! We got a mailbox in SP, only about 3 miles from the house, compared to Carthage being about 10-11!

Oh yea, and FedEx is in Fayetteville. It arrives at RDU, gets on a truck to Fayetteville and is put on vans in Fayetteville.
