I will be bringing some random 40 and 60 series parts.

Anyone need a 5sp trans and transfercase from a 1992 Toyota 4x4 v6?

Post is primarily pointed to Silas, but if any one wants to caravan down, I'm probably going to the less traveled way. Down 401 through Fuquay and Lillington, then over to Sanford. Less speed involved for us rusty 40 guys! Post up if you want to join in...

How should I send out the e-mail? I think I have the distro from the memebers list you sent out a couple of weeks ago.

I can post directions on here as well. If you think it is a spam attack wating to happen for me (I dont know) you can delete this thread and I will send an e-mail.

Anyway.

Address:
55 Honeybee Circle
Sanford, NC 27332

This does not show up on Google maps but it will get you really close if you use intersection of hwy 27 & Buffallo lake rd.

Directions:

From US 1

Take the exit to Hwy 87 and head South until you get to hwy 27. Head east (left) onto hwy 27. Go approx 3 miles until you get to the fuel station and that is Buffallo Lake Rd. You can only go right. Take right and go EXACTLY 1 mile and take a right one to Valley View Ct. Take 2nd Left onto Honeybee Circle.

From 401 Lillington (as noted by a couple members)

Take the right at the end of Lillington onto Hwy 27 and head West. Not sure how many miles but it is a ways. Left onto Buffallo Lake rd and directions are teh same as above from this point.

Comming from the South the Directions are the same from hwy 27.

If you want my phone number you can e-mail me.

Jason

I'd definitely be up for that if I can get this electrical problem worked out that is still :bang: plagueing me  . If not I might just ride down with you. I'll gladly pay for half of the gas. We'll see as the time approaches.

Sounds like a plan. Let me see how that Sunday goes, and maybe I'll come over early and give you a hand if you're going to try and get your 40 to Sanford. :steer:

Not sure if I'll make it to this one. Finally got the parts in for my 4Runner and I'll be out of town this weekend. So that weekend will be when I try to finally put a clutch and "new" tranny in the 4Runner to get it back on the road for the first time since GSMTR. I would've proposed this as a HAMOM this month, but wasn't sure I'd have the parts in until today. If I don't make it, have fun fellas!

Just realized that I'm also going to Larry the Cable guy Sunday night. gonna have to leave earlier than I was planning.

garner, let's plan on caravaning down there, s10 or cruiser.

Anybody else?

I'm in Holly Springs and as of 30 minutes ago I can attend! w00t! I can join you guys / meet ya somewhere.........

Sounds good, we could meet in Fuquay-Varina and either go 42 all the way or down 401 through Lillington. Either way is fine with me, I'll go with the general consensus. Meet at Remington Grille for some burgers before we leave (nobody mentioned grub) Maybe around 12ish? Silas we'll chat before Sunday...

Speaking of Grub,

I'm not sure how long these usually go, but if I can get a final concesus on who is comming I can make sure to have enough burgers and baked beans and a few other things for a early or late dinner. So if you haven't chimmed in yet go ahead. I will be working feverishly to get our floors done so I have a clean garage by the time you get here.

Never Actually had bear meat. Had a bunch of deer we mixed with some regular beef and fat but my buddy unplugged the freezer and it looked like a cow had been slaughtered in his Garage.

I will cook whatever anyone brings but I will also go buy some regular stapels and beef. If you have any special requests (Vegetarians) I think we have a few Veg burgers in the freezer somewhere as well.

Only if you'd like me to . I'm not trying to take over your grill. Just an idea.:hillbilly:
I also realize to that wild game may not be some folks' cup-'o-tea. :)

I usually only cook steaks , myself. I think it's kind of a waste to grind it.

I will tell you that , I've won a lot of people over with my game cooking , that told me they "didn't like game meat". ;) Marinated tender loin , wrapped in bacon....mmm.

I'll bring some in a cooler regardless..[if you don't mind , that is] , as an option , for those that might like to try it.

I know it's kind of late to ask , but speak up , if you're interested in trying some , so I'll have a rough idea of how much to bring. Believe me , I've got plenty. I could feed a small army. Whatever we don't use , I can give to my sister and bro. in law in Cary.

oops, didn't realize that there was a second page...

big thumbs up to the wild game meat. Deer is great and I've never had bear before.

Garner and lil joe,
Just let me know where to meet you, and I'll be there.
