HAMOM 02/26 - 02/27 | 100 series solid-axle swap

[UZJ105]

Beginning work on my 100 series solid-axle swap at @AJR 's organic cruiser farm in Siler City on Saturday, Feb 26th and Sunday the 27th, I don't expect to get the entire job done in one weekend, but hoping to get all of the major welding knocked out.

Installing the Trail Tailor SAS bracket kit, 80 axle w/ 105 hubs, & Marlin Crawler part-time kit.

I plan on having most of the IFS related components removed before Saturday morning for a head start.

A few of us will be camping at @AJR 's property, so feel free to bring a tent if you want to stay the night. We usually do a fire outside.

Also, Adam's son Soren is turning 8 years old that Saturday, so we'll be celebrating his important day as well.

I’m in. I’ll probably leave after work Friday again so I can be there sat when the work starts. The biggest part of a SAS is getting all the IFS stuff removed. That should make things go a lot quicker. I’m also curious to see this trail Taylor kit.

Right now I'm planning on getting the truck to Adam's shop the weekend prior to begin removing IFS stuff. I may go over on the 25th if needed, so I might see you Friday as well.

I will be doing all of my posts on the build thread, but do want to provide a quick update. I was able to remove all of the IFS components today and did a little bit of grinding. There is A LOT of grinding to do. I am going to spend all day tomorrow and the later half of Friday getting as much cut and prepped as humanly possible.
